  • Button Select Challenge Cup Series Defined:The field size for the KUP Select Series is 36 ILF Anglers. Anglers will be divided into two groups of eighteen (18) randomly selected by ILF. A Series is comprised of three (3) separate rounds:
    • Qualifying Round #1 – August 29, 2020 - 18 Anglers competing, top 6 advance to the Championship, bottom 10 eliminated.
    • Qualifying Round #2 – September 27, 2020 - 18 Anglers competing, top 6 advance to the Championship, bottom 10 eliminated.
    • Championship – October 10, 2020 - 12 Anglers - the top 6 Anglers from each of the above Qualifying Rounds above will compete in the Championship.
  • CUP Entry Fees and Payouts: Entry Fee $360 per Angler which covers a Qualifying Round and a Championship should the Angler advance. Championship Payouts positions are as follows: 1st place, 2nd place, 3 place and 4th place.
    Payouts based on a full field of 36 Anglers*:
    • Winner of each Qualifying Round: $500* and a Plaque
    • Championship Round: Total Payout $11,000* and a Trophy
  • Participation: The 1st & 2nd place Anglers competing in a Button One Day Shootout Events, Lake Drive Marine One Day Shootout Events or the Wieda’s Marine One Day Shootout Events are automatically invited to the Button Select Challenge Cup Series. All other Anglers in the field are invited based to the new 2020 points system, see below. Should any of the invited Anglers choose not to participate additional invites will be given to the next ranking Anglers in sequence base on points.
    • 2020 Angler Performance Point System: Anglers earn points for their single best One Day Shootout Event .
  • Periods: Each Qualifying Round will be broken up into three (3) two-hour periods. Championships will have three (3) two- and one-half-hour periods. Anglers are required to return to a designate rendezvous immediately after each period.
  • Ride Around: Prior to the start of Period 1 Anglers will be given a minimum of a 15-minute ride around to determine their starting point. Period 2 and 3 there will be a maximum of a 10-minute ride around.
  • Pre-Tournament Meeting Anglers and their Boat Official are required to attend the pre-tournament meeting the morning of their event. Meeting locations for each event are posted on the 2020 One Day Shootouts Event Schedule.
  • Body of Water Announcement The days body of water is announced at the pre-tournament meeting the morning of your event. Once the body of water is announced the Angler cannot make any calls or text to seek lake information.
  • Rules Requirement: ILF Anglers and Boat Officials are required to be familiar with the ILF COMPETITION RULES, INTERPRETATION & ENFORCEMENT.
